Step 1. Entry requirements

When you want to apply for a bachelor programme of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, it is important that you check if you meet the entry requirements. These requirements are legally stipulated by the law on the higher education and scientific research (WHW).

When you apply with an International Baccalaureate (IB) or other non- Dutch diploma, your application will be processed by the Admissions Office. Find information on the procedure.

When you start your study, you want to be sure you’ve chosen the right programme. Therefore, in addition to the admission procedure, you participate in a matching procedure. In this procedure, you get advice about your study choice. Matching is required but it is not a selection tool! You cannot be refused based on your answers. For more information, see the faculty website for matching.
