Top Master’s degree label for Philosophy programme
The latest edition of the Keuzegids Masters 2018 was released on 8 March. In it, both our one year Philosophy Master’s degree programme and our two year Philosophy Research Master’s degree programme have been rated exceptionally high.
The Keuzegids Masters 2018 includes descriptions of all Master’s degree programmes officially registered in the Netherlands. Most of the programmes are also awarded points to express quality. Some degree programmes are so good, scoring 76 points or more, that the editors award them the label of Top Degree Programme. This label has been awarded to 157 Master’s degree programmes nationally, including 17 University of Groningen programmes.
One of these Top Master’s degree programmes is Philosophy, with 78 points. In addition, our Philosophy Research Master’s programme has been rated best in its category (a shared first place with Radboud University Nijmegen) with a 74 points score.
The University of Groningen as a whole is the best classic Master’s University in the Netherlands!
