Introduction events 2022-2023 international philosophy students

Congratulations on having been admitted to one of our philosophy programmes, and thank you for registering with us!

We hope to welcome you to Groningen for the Faculty of Philosophy introduction event on Friday morning, 2 September 2022. A handbook for new international philosophy students will be made available online during August. For the time being you can find useful pre-departure information for all incoming students in the 2022 Road to the UG.

Academic year 2022-2023 introduction activities (to be updated)

• 1 September: University of Groningen welcoming event and information market
• 2 September: Faculty of Philosophy welcoming event for international students. Registration will be possible shortly
• 5 September: Start of the academic year 2022-2023 - faculty introduction activities
• 7 September: (lecture free day) BBQ for all philosophy staff and (new) students in the Academy Building garden
