What are the effects of nationality diversity in boards?
The study of the composition of Top Management Teams and its affect on corporate performance has a history of over 20 years. The idea is that the composition of the topmanagement team determines how they make decisions and what kind of decisions they make.
This so called `Upper Echelon’ research is almost exclusively American oriented. We want to extend this line of research by applying the conceptual framework to Europe. Additionally, we will incorporate country differences as explanatory variable.
