Doron Israeli explores the role of financial reporting in capital markets (e.g., recognition versus disclosure, the information roles of accruals and cash flows, strategic use of financial information by corporate managers, earnings management), and investigates the effects of capital markets frictions and human cognitive constraints on stock pricing efficiency (e.g., uninformed trading, market anomalies, differences of opinion, investor inattention). His research also deals with methodological issues in empirical capital markets research.
