Lisa Zom and Adriana Garcia won PhD grant Sustainable Society
FEB's Lisa Zom and Adriana Garcia won one of the Sustainable Society PhD grants, together with eight other UG PhD candidates.
To stimulate young researchers to work on societal challenges , the UG's societal theme Sustainable Society provided PhD candidates the opportunity to apply for a European or intercontinental grant up to € 2500,- with their research proposal.
Out of over 50 applications, the jury selected the proposals with a close connection to the Sustainable Society theme that showed the most explicit contribution towards societal challenges and those where the grant could make the biggest difference for the project or the applicant.
