UG organizing largest academic marketing conference in Europe
From 23-26 May, the University of Groningen will be hosting the largest academic marketing conference in Europe. The Marketing Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business will welcome over 800 academics to the annual conference of the European Marketing Academy (EMSC). Under the theme ‘Leaving Footprints’, the impact of marketing research will form a central leitmotif: how can businesses, policymakers and society benefit from the newest scientific insights?
The prestigious conference will open on Tuesday evening in the Gasunie building. King’s Commissioner René Paas will be one of the attendees. Various international top academics will give lectures over the next few days in the Martinikerk and the Martiniplaza. Journalists are warmly invited to attend all or part of the conference.
