On Thursday 4 September 2014 FEB and EBF will jointly celebrate the opening of the new academic year 2014-2015 with students and staff. The central theme is “Moving forward - passenger and freight transport”.
We welcome two prominent alumni of our University to give a guest lecture: Mr. Timo Huges (President of NS and graduate of Business Administration in 1991) and Ms. Dertje Meijer (CEO Port of Amsterdam and FEB graduate of Business Administration in 1989).Huges and Meijer will both give a lecture and there’s discussion afterwards.
Furthermore, awards will be presented for the best lecturers and best freshman of the year of the Faculty of Economics and Business. The festive opening event will be concluded with drinks and music.
