Exchange Faculty of Economics and Business

The student exchange programme is one of the main pillars of the internationalisation strategy of the Faculty of Economics and Business. Our experience shows that study abroad broadens the perspective of students, both academically as well as non-academically. If offers them the experience of a different culture, both for living and for studying, and gives them the opportunity to find interesting academic content outside of the scope of their regular degree programme. And through all this, it adds to their employability, since potential employers generally value the “international experience”. Together with the many international degree students, our incoming exchange students add to the “international classroom”, from which all FEB students benefit.

To facilitate international students exchange, FEB has included in all its undergraduate degree programmes one semester of electives that can be taken at partner schools abroad. Furthermore, both in the BSc International Business and in the BSc Economics and Business Economics (track International Economics and Business), a semester of study abroad (30 ECTS credits) is a compulsory part of the curriculum. Also, FEB has made most of its English-taught 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate courses and master courses available for international exchange students.

We maintain a (faculty) network of over 130 international academic exchange partners from all over the world and have our own faculty Exchange Office to promote and facilitate international student exchange.
