Visa Procedure

For a period of stay longer than 3 months in the Netherlands, all international students must possess an MVV sticker in their passport before departure to the Netherlands.

An MVV is a visa which is placed into the passport by the Netherlands Embassy in the country where the student has his or her permanent residence. The Faculty of Economics will arrange the MVV on your behalf by using the shortened procedure of the Immigration and Naturalization department (IND). This procedure can only be started after you have satisfied certain conditions, all which you will receive here .

It is important to start the shortened MVV procedure well in advance, the latest by 1 July 2006.
