LC| Policy Research at De Nederlandsche Bank

DNB building

This Learning Community will give you the opportunity to find out what it is like to be a policy researcher at the Dutch Central Bank. In small teams (of approximately 5 students) you will work on a research project that will be provided by the Dutch Central Bank (DCB)/De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). The research project will be on a topic that is of relevance to DNB and the idea is that the Learning Community delivers a research report with answers to a policy relevant question.

In order to get to know the DNB, students are invited to visit DNB several times. First, at the start of the project, the research project will be introduced at DNB. Halfway the project, there will be the opportunity to discuss your work with staff members of DNB. And, at the end of the project, there is a presentation of the research report for staff members of DNB.

The actual research is done at FEB under the supervision of an experienced FEB researcher.
