LC | Life Cycle Theory in Practice

Creative ways to remain successful
.

LEARING COMMUNITY IS CANCELLED FOR SEMESTER 2. LOOK FOR NEW ENROLLEMENT IN SEMESTER 1 2018-2019.

What has gone up, will go down. And what has gone down, must go up – in order to survive. A simple truth from the Life Cycle approach, but often neglected in economics and business administration. This approach can be used to analyse and predict the diffusion of new products, ideas, organisations or technologies. Especially for mature organisations it is crucial to use their old life cycles in order to become successful in new ones. You can even use this approach for better organising your personal career: how to switch to another job before you get stuck in a dead-end street.
After learning the basic concepts of Life Cycle Theory, you will do a case study (alone or in pairs) to find out how the life cycle theory can be used in practice. This Learning Community is especially designed for students who would like to develop skills in the fields of creative thinking and networking, with an interest in disruptive patterns in industries and organisations.
