Many internship positions are unpaid. To help you find financial support to do an internship anyway, we listed some options to find a scholarship below:


  • Beursopener
    The 'Beursopener' is an internet database which offers information about different scholarships and funds (including private ones) that students can apply for when they want to go abroad for study, research or an internship.
  • Erasmus+
    Erasmus+ scholarships are meant for students who plan to do an internship (during or after your studies) of 3 to 12 months in a country participating in the Erasmus+ programme.
    NUFFIC's online search engine Grantfinder gives you a complete overview of all scholarships available for studying in Holland.
  • Groningen University Fund
    For students of University of Groningen going abroad for an internship.
  • Holland Scholarship
    For students wanting to study, do research or an internship in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Application deadline for the second semester is the 15th of November 2016!
