Introducing a faculty podcast: Econ 050
|Date:||16 November 2018|
The faculty now has a podcast! It's called Econ 050, and you can subscribe now on iTunes.
Each episode features an expert from the Faculty of Economics and Business speaking about a topic of their expertise that matters to Groningen, the Netherlands, and the wider world. The podcast is a collaboration between the faculty and English-language newspaper The Northern Times, and is presented by editor Traci White.
The first three episodes are now live here.
Listen now to hear Assistant Professor Tristan Kohl discuss the trade policies of United States President Donald Trump, and why a trade war with China is a lose-lose proposition. Hear about the psychology behind why giving products faces and personalities encourages consumers to buy them from Assistant Professor Jing Wan. And find out what postdoctoral researcher Burcu Subasi's studies have revealed about how international employees can be disadvantaged in the workplace.
Do spread the word and share the podcast on social media and with anyone who you think might be interested to hear more about the top class research taking place at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
