Research Methodology with R for the Social Scientist
The summer school on research methodology is designed for researchers in social science and management. The goal of the summer school is to give participants the skills to define and develop a finite and ‘doable’ research question. In addition, participants will learn how to match data and methodology to a particular research question. The methodologies that will be focussed on in this summer school will be quantitative. The open source statistical program R and RStudio will be used during this summer school. While some background in R is useful, it is not necessary and an orientation to R will be provided.
This summer school will take place on the beautiful Amritapuri campus of Amrita University, Amritapuri situated in the backwaters of Kerala, India. Bringing together students from Europe, the United States and India, we hope to learn together in this scenic and serene environment.
