This course is designed for students, researchers, and professionals who are interested in young people’s participation in research, policy, and practice. A third-year bachelor level in one of the social sciences is expected.
Participants should have a sufficient command of the English language to actively participate in the discussions and to present their own work in English .
The summer school programme will start on July 9th and end on July 13th. We recommend participants to arrive before Sunday 2.30PM, so they can participate in the welcoming activities.
After this course you will be able to:
- Understand and describe the pitfalls and challenges of young people’s participation
- Apply and implement promising aspects of young people’s participation in research, policy, and practice.
- Attendance of summer school is 40 hours.
- For UG students who wish to take the summer school as a module for their YSP master’s programme (5 ec), 140 hours are expected to be spent on preparatory work, the summer school sessions, and assignments
