Welcome to the Honours Festival of the Mukwege Cohort!
The Honours Festival is the final activity of the Honours College programme for third-year students before they complete the programme. It offers them an opportunity to showcase their Atelier Group projects. These projects address current scientific and societal issues which they explored throughout their Honours education from different interdisciplinary perspectives. For this year's festival (24 June 2026), the students have prepared engaging and interactive activities on topics ranging from sustainability to philosophy and more. Drinks will be available.
Afterwards, speeches will be streamed in several rooms of the Academy Building, followed by the Honours Ceremony per faculty, where students receive their medals from faculty coordinators.
We hope you enjoy the programme and celebrate the achievements of the Mukwege graduates.
Warm regards,
Prof. Joke Fleer, Dean of the Honours College and Honours College Festival team
