Creative Problem Solving

The students of the Creative Problem Solving Atelier explored creativity, and developed their own creative solutions to complex problems. Come by to train your brain to think flexibly with a fun ‘Creative Fluency Card Game’. How divergent can you think? Once you’re brain is warmed up, get ready to see three creative solutions.

There is a gap between knowing about pollution and feeling motivated to act. Through the story of a family in Tuzla and an interactive model, you’ll be familiarized with the detrimental effects of environmental pollution and shown how change might be possible. 

While the EU needs to increase its investments to decarbonise and digitalise its economy, approximately 10 trillion euros in dead capital is kept in the savings account  of European citizens. To make investing accessible, cheap, and simple, students made a feature that can be added to the applications of European banks that would allow consumers to automatically invest their spare change.

Many students in Groningen struggle with loneliness. Students developed an app design for organizing and joining activities by and for RUG students. The audience is welcome to explore and discuss the design with a prototype mock app.
