How should I deregister?
How long does it take for my deregistration request to be processed?Your request will be processed within 6 weeks. If you deregister on the basis of obtaining your degree certificate, this may take a little longer if your exam date is not yet known.
How can I see if my deregistration has been processed? You will receive a confirmation in your email.
As of what date my registration will be ended? It depends on why you want to end your registration.
Reason Your registration will be ended Quit your degree programme as of the first day of the following month Graduation on the first day of the month after the month in which the final assessment is passed (date on certificate) Decease the first day of the month after the month in which the student died

Ask your question
Do I retain access to my email, etc. after deregistration? You have 8 weeks (56 days) to save your mail and files to a secure location after you received the email that you are officially deregister.
After 8 weeks your account will be blocked, although your mails and files will be saved for a further 309 days.
After 309 days your account, including any email messages and files, will be definitively deleted. You will not receive notification of this.
Can I cancel my request for deregistration?
Why was my deregistration request that I submitted in July/August rejected? No reimbursement will be made for the months of July and August. For that reason, your request to deregistration will be rejected. In this way you may also retain the right to student finance and a student travel product.
Do you still want to be deregistered? Then follow the instruction you received by e-mail.
