At the end of this year, 80% of all lecturers of the University of Groningen must have a University Teaching Qualification (UTQ). If you have at least five profound years of teaching experience, you can obtain the UTQ by following the UTQ registration programme. Meaning, you compile a portfolio based on your previous experience to demonstrate you meet the four quality requirements:
- Design and redesign of teaching
- Teaching and supervising students
- Testing and assessment
ESI offers UTQ registration workshops to support you in compiling your portfolio. However, we are aware of your full schedules. Therefore, we are organizing an online session in which you can ask all your questions concerning the UTQ. Furthermore, we will provide background materials and give suggestions on how to best compile the portfolio. Several experts (from ESI staff development and some faculty UTQ contact persons) will be present to make sure you will be on your way to obtain the UTQ after the webinar.
4th March 2015 from 7p.m. – 8.30p.m.
Wherever you want. You only need a good internet connection and the Java software up to date.
Lectures from the University of Groningen with at least five years teaching experience and who are in the progress to obtain – or do not have yet – the University Teaching Qualification (UTQ/BKO).
