As a lecturer, you may encounter small-group teaching settings in various stages of your degree programme – for example in the form of seminars, project group supervision or practical groups. This form of teaching requires specific teaching skills. How can you make sure that students in a small group are indeed working, that your students prepare for their classes and that you choose the right assignment or mode of instruction to dovetail with your learning outcomes?
