Workshop for holding a successful results and development interview with your manager

Your own development is important. But what do you want to develop? How do you take control? What are your goals for the future? Which results agreements should you make? These are all questions that you will answer during your R&O (results and development) interview with your manager. But how do you do that? How do you prepare for it? And how do you handle feedback? This half-day workshop provides insight on how you can best approach your next R&O interview. It is free of charge.

Objective

The R&O interview gives you the opportunity to think about your career and professional development and your goals for the future. During this half-day workshop, you will reflect on your own development and learn how to approach a discussion about this with your manager.

Programme

We will cover the following topics during the workshop:

Exchanging experiences:
How did your previous R&O interviews go?
Preparing for an R&O interview:
What does development mean? How can you make this concrete?
Motivation:
What motivates you? What gives you energy? Where do you draw energy from?
Competences:
What are they? How do you effectively address them?
Results:
Which agreements should you make with one another? How does the assessment part work?
Feedback:
Which questions should you ask? What are the basic interview techniques?
Rounding up and reporting:
Who will do what? How do you agree on this?

Results

After this training workshop, you will:

✓ Have insight into your competences, goals, and motivations.
✓ Know the basic interview techniques.
✓ Know how to ask questions and handle feedback.
