Art of living, Mind matters
Art of living is a worldwide, volunteer based, non-profit educational foundation that has been addressing to a vision of a stress-free and violence-free society. One of its primary focus has been offering workshops related to yoga, meditation and powerful yet simple breathing techniques to manage and deal with our own mind and body and daily stresses. Over the past 35 years it has expanded to 160 countries, benefiting nearly 300 million people all over the world. Apart from teaching it is involved diverse service initiatives. such as drug and alcohol rehabilitation, education of underprivileged children, relief in trauma affected regions, conflict resolution, employment for the extremely poor classes and promoting environmental resurrection activities (For more details, click here).
Art of Living offers comprehensive life-skills workshops on bringing back the delicate balance in our personal and professional lives, where we teach very practical and efficient forms of the above techniques as well as a very effective breathing technique called "Sudarshan Kriya (SKY)", a very simple rhythmic breathing process with many benefits. The technique has been very well researched and works wonders is removing chronic stress as well sharpening the mind (This link provides a nice description from a scientific stand point). Three Day Course
YES!+ is the Happiness Program, designed for university people and youth. It consists of a course in 3 sessions of 3 hours on 3 consecutive days in which you learn the unique breathing technique, “The Sudarshan Kriya”. This technique is valuable for the rest of your life.
The Happiness Program has been adored by the millions in the whole world (in more than 155 countries), and is offered as a credit program in many world renowned Universities (e.g. Stanford Univ.) and Industries/Institutes (e.g. IBM, World Bank, Google).
