Podcast: Jesse van Amelsvoort in conversation with Donna Noonan

29 November 2018

Donna Noonan is a well-known and liked face among students from University College Fryslân. Donna, who is originally from Ireland, works here as a Prospective Student Officer. In this first Multilocal podcast recorded in Leeuwarden, Jesse van Amelsvoort talks to Donna about the places she lived, her love of Leeuwarden and the rituals, relationships and restrictions that give shape to her life.

Multilocal originates in Groningen, where Culture, Languages and Technology PhD candidate Jesse van Amelsvoort and his colleague Marian Counihan have been talking to the city’s international residents for over a year. Multilocal takes its inspiration from Taiye Selasi’s TED talk: don’t ask us where we’re from, ask us where we’re local.
