Finding a job that suits you after you graduated can be hard. The phase between study and work can be difficult and building knowledge about how to find your dream job and how to apply for it is not part of the curriculum of most studies. Added to that, the current job market is a lot different from the job market a few years ago. During your career it is becoming more common to hop from one firm to another rather than staying at the same one. Nowadays, in order to prepare yourself well for the job market, a more pro-active approach is required.
Successfully passing the gap between study and work is one of the things that Career Services can help students with. During my time as a student I noticed that I am passionate about helping other students out with their problems. From hockey trainer to teaching assistant I am now glad to be a part of Career Services. Here I am, together with my colleagues, able to help students find the right job for them via CV, cover letter and LinkedIn checks. So if you have any questions regarding your future career, don’t hesitate to drop by!
