For Employers
Would your organization benefit from new talent? Then you’re in the right place! This is because Career Services connects students with employers.
As an employer, you can register with Career Services and submit vacancies, which will be shared with the students via the University intranet. Our database system presents students with job openings that match their interests. Career Services will also make sure that the vacancy information is passed on to the relevant faculty/ faculties and/or study associations.
Our platform is also suitable for internships, so you may submit these vacancies as well. Vacancies that are being submitted through Career Services must meet the following requirements:
- They must be academically relevant to the students;
- They must involve vacancies that include internships or starter jobs with a maximum required work experience of one year.
If you would like to post a vacancy on our database, please refer to the steps below:
1. Register as an employer
If this is the first time you have submitted a job or internship vacancy to the University of Groningen, please register your company or organization. To do this, simply fill in the web form for new employers.
2. Register a new contact person
If your company or organization has already been registered with the University of Groningen using the web form (step 1), and you wish to add or change a contact person, please fill in the Contact Person web form.
3. Submit a new vacancy
If your company and contact person are already registered (steps 1 & 2), you can go straight to the web form for submitting new vacancies . Once a vacancy has been received, it will be assessed promptly and, after approval, it will be processed and posted in our vacancy database.
NOTE: The Faculty of Economics and Business uses their own vacancy database. Vacancies for internships and jobs for students and alumni of this faculty can be submitted to this database through the faculty website.
