On behalf of the University of Groningen and the ambassador of the Netherlands to the United States, mr. Henne Shuwer, it is our pleasure to invite you for a special evening for University of Groningen alumni in Washington DC.
You are welcome at the residence of the ambassador of the Netherlands in Washington DC on January 27th, 6-7:30pm. Meet fellow Groningen alumni, the new ambassador and attend an interesting lecture by JR Reagan on Cyber Security.

Short Lecture on Cyber Security
The University of Groningen alumni chapters like to offer alumni lectures on current events topics around the world. This event will touch on the issue of cyber security. The embassy of the Netherlands in the United States emphasizes the importance of safe and responsible internet use and aims to improve international cooperation with regard to the internet. The aim is to expand the internet’s role in increasing prosperity and social welfare.
We are honored that Dr. JR Reagan, Global Chief Information Security Officer will share his knowledge on the topic of cyber security. Reagan serves as Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and as the Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) for the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST).
