About studying in Groningen
Studying in Groningen is the best thing that ever happened to me, I have had the time of my life here!! Groningen has the best international student experience and a great atmosphere for studying.
Ms. Prayfon Petchposri was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. After high school, she attended Thammasat University, where she graduated with honors. During her 4th year of bachelor, she represented her country in the International Moot Court Competition concerning environmental laws and human rights organized by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She also participated in community services including building a school in a remote area. She was admitted to the Thai Bar in 2012. Later that year she was granted a University of Groningen Talent Grant: Partial Scholarship Law and finally obtained a postgraduate degree in International law and laws of international organizations from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands in 2013. Complimenting her studies in the Netherlands, she was involved in many activities such as the Model United Nations and photo contest. After completion of the LL.M. Program, she plans to work in Thailand’s court of justice. She has backpacked extensively through Europe learning history, embracing diverse cultures and meeting new people. She also enjoys photographing, running, and outdoor sports including hiking, rafting and rock climbing.
