About studying in Groningen

“I studied International Economic and Business law. I liked the teaching skills of the lecturers in my programme. Among the subjects of my programme, I liked the seminar in International Corporate Governance Law the most, which was very practical on how both the public and private companies operate.

T he programme has trained me to be a better person in the legal field. It has helped me to acquire skills in solving legal problems, legal research and effective legal analysis .

The education system in Groningen is more research oriented as compared to that of my own country. It helps one to make a lot of studying on his/her own with less help from the lecturers.

I liked the water surrounding the city and biking in the city.

Without the people in the International Office, you can do nothing! They are wonderful people.

I did not know how to ride a bike before I came to Groningen. My best moment here in Groningen, was biking around the city. It’s a wonderful thing to do.”
