Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health

Together for more healthy years
Aletta Jacobs School of Public HealthWe are Aletta

Partners

The issue health – and specifically public health – can count on an increasing interest of a growing number of people and organisations, all from different perspectives. But the offer is fragmented and lacks focus. We aim to be ‘the umbrella’, the connecting factor. We combine our partners (and their specific knowledge and skills) and funding in an integral and practice-driven approach.

This way we bridge the gap between theory and practice and work together for more healthy years. Yet we can nog do this alone. We therefore hope that many partners will join so we can expand the substantive umbrella (Academic Partners) and make this content relevant to people and society as soon as possible (Sociatal Partners). Our goal is to bring our partners (and their specific knowledge and expertise) and financing together in an integral, practice-driven approach. Will you join?

Partners

Our societal partners are from both the public and the private sector. With the societal partners Aletta works on partner-specific research. In a broader context societal partners work on specific projects that contribute to more healthy years. Our academic partners, like the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, are knowledge institutes (applied sciences and research) that commit themselves to Aletta. With the academic partners Aletta strengthens its scientific roots and unlocks a broader substantive network.
