Experts in data

The Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health collaborates intensively with the Groningen Data Federation Hub (DFH). The DFH experts, represented in the Data & Analysis method, help researchers within the Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health throughout the research data life cycle. Being experts in data and analysis, they know better than anyone how to analyse and combine different types of research data. Therefore, the aim of this method is supporting scientists and thus making excellent research possible. In doing so, they use advanced IT solutions, technical infrastructures and data expertise.

In concrete terms, this means that the Data & Analysis method helps with analysing and combining data, but also with making research data management plans. Within the method, the experts can also help to think about the use of innovative techniques and analyses for applications for research funding. In addition, they make the extracted data available in catalogues and they can visualise the data of the researchers, in order to make them accessible and transparent for a broader audience.
Moreover, the experts responsible for the Data & Analysis method continuously introduce new methods of analysis that can help the researchers further in their research.

Indispensable expertise

In short, the Data & Analysis method provides indispensable expertise, with a special mix of innovative techniques, support and facilities. This ensures that researchers within the Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health can collaborate more easily, thus creating surprising new insights.
By looking at healthy ageing together and in a different way, we take a big step in the direction of our ultimate goal: more healthy years for everyone.
