Programme Committees

The Dutch Higher Education and Research Act (henceforth: WHW) stipulates the tasks and duties of the Programme Committees (OC’s). The OC is the representative advisory body within the degree programme and consists of staff and students. Every degree programme has an OC, sometimes one OC is responsible for more than one OC, for example, if the programmes have some overlap. The WHW stipulates that it is the OC’s duty to advice on how to guarantee and improve the quality of the degree programme. What this means more specifically can be read in the Handbook for Programme Committees.
