European Union awarded highly esteemed Erasmus Mundus status to two Life Sciences programmes

After a highly competitive selection procedure, two new international Life Sciences Master programmes for which the University or Groningen is the coordinating institution were awarded the highly esteemed Erasmus Mundus Master status. MEME, the Erasmus Mundus Master in Evolutionary Biology, and CEMACUBE, the Common European Master Course in Biomedial Engineering, have started their application procedures for the 2010 editions of the programmes.

As Erasmus Mundus Masters, MEME and CEMACUBE both guarantee high quality education, degrees from two or more partner institutions upon completion of the programme, and a high degree of student mobility. MEME students will be able to study in Groningen, Uppsala, Munich, Montpellier and Harvard; CEMACUBE students will be able to study in Groningen, Aachen, Ghent, Brussels, Dublin and Prague. The European Union will pay for twenty full scholarships for each programme, and for students that do not receive scholarships, partial waivers of the tuition fees are available.

You can find all information about MEME and CEMACUBE on their respective websites: www.evobio.eu and www.biomedicaltechnology.eu .
