25 January 2017

Representatives from every faculty at the UG will battle today in the 10th edition of the Lecturer of the Year elections. Starting at 2.30 p.m., nine nominees will each give a short lecture of about 10 minutes in the Aula of the Academy Building. The winner will be the Lecturer of the Year 2016. There will also be an Audience Award and a Web Award.

The lectures and the results of the Lecturer of the Year elections can be followed via a livestream on the UG website. In this video, Erik Scherder (the first winner) and Niels Taatgen (last year's winner) emphasize how important it is to teach well.
