Groningen starts pilot on preventing language deficiency in children

Problems with language development can have major consequences for the school performance of children. Groningen is the first place in the Netherlands to introduce the programme ‘Success for All’, developed by the American psychologist Robert Slavin. The programme focuses on preventing language deficiency. Its effectiveness is being studied by Roel Bosker, Professor of Education at the University of Groningen.
