The Board of the University invites everyone to join the research lunch on the impact of European legislation on Human Subject Research Data Ma-nagement.
At the research lunch meeting, the set up of a 2-year programme will be proposed to provide a service and IT infrastructure for UG/UMCG researchers. The programme aims to set up a service that facilitates research on human subjects by providing the researcher an up-to-date IT infrastructure that supports the collection, processing, storage and (re)use of research data, while ensuring data security and properly protecting the privacy of participants. Key note speakers
Prof dr. Ronald Stolk, UMCG, and dr. Salome Scholtens, Energy Academy Europe, will give presentations on the need for good data management (eg. gerelatterd the requirements of grant funds and journals), and the University Human Subject. Christina Elsenga of the Research Data Office (UB) will give an overview of ongoing activities and services of the university on research data management. The research lunch will be chaired by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Elmer Sterken.
