Students and the University of Groningen house style

Students can use templates for reports, PowerPoint presentations and Excel sheets for study purposes. The software (DotOffice) is available via the StudentenWerkPlek (SWP).

For use in printed documents (theses or study presentations), students can download the logo.

Student and study associations

In a number of cases, student and study associations may use the University of Groningen (UG) logo in their communications. In order to avoid any confusion about the sender, however, the associations are not permitted to use the UG house style.

Using the University of Groningen logo for all communication material

In principle, a student or study association may use the University of Groningen logo if:

• The association is recognized by CUOS
• The association receives support from CUOS in the form of grants and/or housing
• The association meets the requirements for applying for committee grants. See the CUOS website for more information.

Conditions for using the logo

It must be clear from the text and images that the communication material originates from a student or study association. The rules for using the University of Groningen in external house styles also apply.
