In this webinar you will explore inclusive education through the principles and practice of 'Universal Design for Learning', as an inclusive design method for a wide variety of students. Sietske Vissers and Aletta Westra-Hofstee will showcase the highlights of what possibilities UDL can offer to lecturers and other education professionals to educate for a wide variety of students. Co-hosts will be two differently-abled RUG-students, who will share their experiences and needs in learning and education.
Lecturers will discuss their experiences with various education design methods and the implications for inclusive teaching. Teachers, academic advisers and other education professionals will have the opportunity to increase their awareness of the perspectives of differently-abled students, and add valuable new tools to their educational practices to foster inclusive education for everyone.
