Scholarships

When you go abroad

you can get information from

- through a faculty exchange agreement to:

countries within the EU: Erasmus/LLLP (Life Long Learning project)
(only for students from one of these countries*)
countries outside the EU: Marco Polo Fund
to Japan: Groningen Graduate School of Science

* students originating from countries outside the EU are allowed to go to a European country,
using a Marco Polo scholarship.

- through a university exchange agreement

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences maintains the following additional directions when you apply for a sholarship of the Marco Polo Fund:

you have to apply at the exchange coordinator no later than eight weeks before leave;
you will receive 75% of the scholarship after receipt of a copy of the ticket for the outward journey; the remaining 25% will be paid after receipt of the report, the report form, a transcript of records or assessment letter and a copy of the ticket for the return journey;
when receiving money from other funds and/or institutions the faculty maintains the additional rule:
