For some national and international grant proposals it is mandatory to provide an institutional letter of support or some form of guarantee (e.g. financial) .
For national grants of e.g. NWO Prof. F. Kuipers (dean, member of the Raad van Bestuur UMCG) or Prof. L.F.M.H. de Leij (pro-dean research) will sign.
For international grants including FP7 Prof. F. Kuipers (dean, member of the Raad van Bestuur UMCG) or drs. L.C. Bruggeman (chairman of the Raad van Bestuur UMCG) will sign.
