The UMCG has one interfaculty institute:
Kolff- The W.J. Kolff Institute for Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science
Kolff stays as a separate entity next to the UMCG Graduate Schools. The educational courses for Kolff Graduate Students are incorporated in the educational program of the Graduate School GUIDE, but keep their own direction. Recruitment and selection of Graduate students as well as the choice of the educational courses is under responsibility of the Kolff director.
