Committee for clinical scientific research (AGIKO-KF)

This committee is targetted at ZonMw AGIKO grant proposals. The AGIKO (Assistent Geneeskundige in Opleiding tot Klinisch Onderzoeker)-education offers the 'Assistent Geneeskundige in Opleiding (AGIO)' to conduct scientific PhD research next to the training to become a medical specialist. Goal and tasks

The goal of the UMCG AGIKO-KF committee is to select those research proposals for an AGIKO stipend  that will be submitted at ZonMw from the UMCG.

The tasks of the committee are:

• Judging the quality of the proposals
• Selecting the proposals that will be submitted on behalf of the UMCG
• Advising and coaching the candidate in the writing process
• Advising Research Office and the Dean for research policy concerning the AGIKO stipend program
