β- D- glucuronidase (MPS VII, Sly)

 

Principe van de enzymassay:

Het patiëntenmateriaal wordt geïncubeerd met het synthetische substraat 4methylumbelliferyl- β- D- glucuronide. Door de werking van β- D- glucuronidase wordt 4-methylumbelliferon (4-MU) afgesplitst. De hoeveelheid 4-MU die zodoende vrijkomt, is een maat voor de enzymaktiviteit, en is fluorimetrisch te bepalen.

 

Benodigd materiaal: Leukocyten of fibroblasten
