4. Role of epigenetics in normal and leukemic stem cells

We are extensively studying the role of epigenetics in normal and leukemic stem cells. We make use of proteomics to study protein complex compositions in normal en leukemic cells, and we particularly focus on the canonical PRC1 and non-canonical PRC1.1 complexes. By using Chip-SEQ we have investigated loci occupied by polycomb members. By using (inducible) shRNA libraries we perform gene-function studies in vitro and in vivo in humanized mouse models.
