The Clinical Research Desk is a “front office” facility for all researchers within the UMCG. The CRD supports (clinical) researchers in the different phases of conducting scientific research: phrasing of a scientific research question, study design, grant proposal, contract negotiation, medical ethics approval, data collection, data management, statistical analyses and scientific writing.
The CRD is a “front office” within the UMCG which avoids that a researcher needs to contact the different offices and departments that are involved with scientific research, like legal affairs, institutional review board, epidemiologists, data management, laboratory center, radiology, etc. For complex questions on a specific area researchers are forwarded to the individual office or department.
