Flash back: Open Day 29 January

On January the 29th, we hosted another Open Day at University College Groningen. There were more than 250 interested students who wanted to know more about the Liberal Arts and Sciences programme at UCG. All sessions started with a presentation from the dean welcoming them to University College Groningen and explaining what makes the Liberal Arts and Sciences programme at UCG so unique. After that, the students were welcome to attend presentations on all the majors that we offer or take place in an interdisciplinary workshop. To top it off, each session closed with a tour to the UCG campus. Needless to say, many of our current students were present to answer any and all questions, such as whether it is possible to apply for more than one University College in the Netherlands (yes it is! Though as a University College we are a selective programme we do not work according to the numerus fixus principle, meaning you can apply for multiple UC's).

Were you present at our Open Day and are keen to find out more about University College Groningen? Make sure to sign up for Student for a Day. Have you not been able to attend this Open Day? We have one more Open Day coming up on April 9th, you can sign up here! (Registrations open 15 March).
