Objective:
The development of advanced search engines (with underlying large scalable databases) based on Target technology for direct market applications.
Target technology can offer new possibilities to conduct queries more efficiently and effectively.
This strengthens the business case of commercial search engines.
The joint R&D of Heeii BV and the Target partners will focus on improving repeatability, precision, speed and availability of suggestions.
This can be reached by a.o. research into the improvement of user profiles from more complex data, research into a clearer definition of the information in which the user really is interested and research into and development of techniques to search databases more quickly.
The search engine technology developed within this work package can also be applied to other new (potential) start-ups, who have already contacted Target and the Artificial Intelligence group of the RUG.
