Italian

The courses in Italian focus mainly on speaking and understanding Italian. More attention will be paid to reading and writing skills from level 2 onwards. Grammar is not a goal in itself in these courses but will be used to support the language acquisition. A great deal of attention will be paid to acquiring a basic vocabulary.

Language of instruction
The language of instruction will be Italian whenever possible, but when necessary certain matters will be explained in Dutch. Non-native speakers of Dutch may also take this course but they will need at least level B1 of the CEFR.
This is the equivalent of level 2 of the Language Centre Dutch for non-native speakers course.
