Going abroad

A stay abroad is a valuable experience, both from a professional and a personal point of view. You will get to know another country, a different culture, a different system of education, you can study subjects that you cannot study here, you will add to your CV, improve your chances of finding a job, and so on.

There are various options for a stay abroad during your studies, and this may not even result in a study delay. It is important that you prepare your stay thoroughly. In general, we recommend that you start making preparations a year in advance, particularly in view of the deadlines of the various grant providers and other sources of funding.
