Manfred Thoma medal from the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) for the 2014-2017 triennial period. "The Manfred Thoma medal, created in 2015, recognizes outstanding contributions of a young researcher and/or engineer under the age of 40 to the field of systems and control in its widest sense."

European Control Award from the European Control Association (EUCA) for fundamental contributions to distributed and cooperative control of multi-agent and network systems
